Sam joined NEP Connect in 2012. After obtaining a First Class BSc (Honours) Degree in Accounting from The University of Hull, Sam went on to train as a Chartered Accountant with the Manchester office of Coopers and Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers). Sam then moved to the Bahamas where she continued to work for PriceWaterhouseCoopers managing audits of investment funds, insurance companies and telecoms providers. Sam later became Financial Controller for the Bahamian telecoms, internet and technology business, Systems Resource Group (SRG) Limited. After returning to the UK at the end of 2000, Sam held various senior finance roles in the banking, retail, leisure and hospitality sectors including with nightclub operator Luminar Plc (now The Deltic Group Limited).
As a member of the NEP Connect senior management team, Sam is involved in helping shape the strategic direction and financial trajectory, as well as providing commercial finance support to decision making and ensuring the business is on track to meet its targeted plans for growth.
Sam is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and an active member of the Beds, Berks and Herts branch of the ICAEW.
